Eventhough I think a less processed/fizzy tone might make it even more godlike (think Gilmour)....

...The solo that started like three-quarters into it was fucking A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!!! Let me repeat that for the less envious players: A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

I know quite well what Gilmour uses. When I was hunting down my Mk III I went on a side-quest to find out wth Gilmour uses. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Newc, if you like that kinda tone, perhaps try out John's MK III, he's getting rid of it. R2 on that puppy and a boss distortion pedal, some digital effects on there (delay, mostly) and BAM instant Gilmour tone.

First one is very tasty indeed!

Ever listen to early Knopfler? This has a very, very strong Communique feel...which is the best Dire Straits album IMHO.

Now I will listen to the second one and let you know how that one is.
