    Tim , The coolest one I ever owned was a Mark III..now that was a cool head , it was saggy at the time and like the new 5150 head better..never played the lone star...is it smoother gain that is actually "usable"..I would assume yes since you like them and hate rectos..must be apples and oranges then..

    Time do you hear saggy ass Fuzz with a recto..its not just me right??..I mean Loomis is playing them. But I heard him with four different set up..and they all sounded like Loomis..including a Pod Pro and a Mesa poweramp...he sounded great on that show..Dreamimg Neon Black tour I belive with Tim Calvery going toe to toe wotth him..Calvert is awesome as well..He's a pilot for contenantal airlines ...quit at the end of that tour..to feed the family..Metal wasn't paying much 4 years ago or so..Metal wasn't popular like its getting now...now you can make a living at it..even a meager living at least..

    Matt Barlow left Iced Earth for the same reason..became a cop..and sings in a cop choir ...man to me he was half of Iced Earth..Timmy just don't gel as well..I like Tim ..great guy and all..and I hate to say that ..its like Halford fronting Maiden...but not really.     Just wrote two songs they are complet..Destruction Ritual and Long Live and Suffer...Sarj Jon mentioned that his dad used to say that..I saw it and wanted it for a title..I got a really Candlemass (A riff is posted here "Billberschall") thing going and its perfect..words and everything..Lyrics arn't complete yet..I'll get to them some day..I hate when you try and right and just freeze with a brain fart..

    Ideas hit me right when I'm about to fall asleep..that pisses me off because I forget half of them.

      Just saw this and listened to your tunes. Man some good stuff. High Spead Death Roll is like Death & Kreator mixed together. I liked your singer's harmonies on Scapegoat. Death Perception was my fave or the 4 songs you posted. And I definitely like the dissonent riffing on Father Felon. As others have said, a HQ recording of this stuff would shine.

        I think your Death / Kreator comparison is spot on balls!!..Thank You I will take the as an abosulte complement..that's what Ty was going for..music it remenids me of old Kreator..Vocaly it reminds me of Chuck Shuldiner..he was going for that!!!           Loved them all. They all SLAY!

          Loved Highspeed Death Roll the most by far. I'm so into that uberfast death thrash stuff. 'Just' some superflash solos and searing harmonies in there and that thing'll be spank! [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

            Hell yeah , solos a plenty..just wished I had the tracks to do it...I have some worked out for that song..very COBish!!

            Half of you like High Speed Death Roll and the other half don't care for that vocal style.

            Ty is talented , he can cover both grounds ..I'm lucky to have him..

            It's not like most of this "Scream and whine" crap either.. if you can't sing clean in key ..please do not "sing"

            stick to dirty vocals..alot of these guys are trying to "sing" and it doesn't work..they strain to stay in key and it sounds terrible...this seems to be a trend lately..I have no clue why.. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

              And that dive-bomb harmonic (demonic harmonic!) in Scape goat was sweet!

              Finally, the galloping feel in the middle of High Speed was way cool.

              Kudos mister!! That shit rocks hard!!!
              And the vocalist has an awesome voice for the style.

                  I wished I had more tracks to play with for solos and stuff..but it was put together to show a local metal college DJ what we are about..he played that on the air..which is cool I guess..

                  Just wish we could go into a real studio and do this thing right!!

                          Looks like I'll be recording in a real studio with Ripper's drummer ..they're putting together a studio with Protools and all the whatnots..

                          That demo is just a rough draft of the actual song Ideas..far from the final product..

                          I got the solos worked out now and everything..

                            I love it. Tight and rippin. Id love to hear it pro recorded, where one could digest the technical guitar playing and the overall package.

                            Sell off some gear and buy your own recording stuff Bill. I bought a Firewire 410 for 220$ off ebay and from there I learned some basic recording stuff and you can get REALLY far on a limited budget and some reading. Take this mp3 for example (http://kainziw.com/mp3/wbs.mp3) That was doen on my comp. ITs not pro, but for 250$, I cant complain.

                              I didn't even record this thing on that Fisher Price "Press N' Play" tape recorder..

                              My passed out buddy on xannax recorded that over a weekend with borrowed cheap mics..

                              I swear I'm so ghey when it comes to doin' shit like that..it's pathetic.

                                Father Felon was my favourite. I found it dynamic and the singing complimented things. Dude certainly has some good pipes. I found it the most appealing. Like I said, id love to hear it in a high quality mixdown!
