          Of course he does. For one Neil can sing - I don't know what you call that chicken-choking shit King does. They're both goofballs for different reasons. But mostly Neil plays songs that girls like - that's gonna get you way more booty.

            I love King Diamond..I never used to..But I saw the "big picture" he a great story teller set to KILLER music..oustanding music..But I am a Dude..a metal dude.

                What I didn't get about KD was the "big picture" at first..I swear he is amoung the best of horror authors..Lovecraft , Poe , Barker , Steven King..

                It's really amazing ...the story lines are incredible ..and he ALWAYS had the best of musicians...a real visionary ..You must get Abigail and Them..and the Puppet Master..he plays all the charcaters like in a play...that's why he does all those weird , different voices..

                I never knew that at first..

                Besides..Andy Laroque , Pete Blakk , Mike wead , Mike Denner , Glen Drover..they are amoung the best in the biz..Hank Sherman too...but he was in Merciful Fate. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

                Tim if you always like Merciful fate but never like King's vocals..I highly recommend Force Of Evil...its the ame band and classic sound with the singer of Iron Fire..they have two ..s/t and black Empire..

                  Definately get your ass in the studio to polish this shit up and get yourself a decent drummer and start tearing up Hell's Ghetto bro [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

                  I like Father Felon a lot... especially your riffage!! The solo is hard to hear and doesn't really do anything for me after the first 6 seconds of it. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

                  Death Perception: Just not really getting into it.... I don't know why exactly! Maybe it is just balls to the wall the whole song without any memorable/melodic/heavy grooving/dynamic parts that grab you!

                  Scapegoat: Awesome tune!! Love the intro, riffage, and the vocals! Ty reminds me of Ripper in Cathedral Spires on the Jugulator album in this song for some reason during the slower chorus type parts.

                  High Speed Death Roll: Man.... this has one fuckin groovy ass riff at 1:02!!! God Damn....I love that fuckin riff!!!!! It seriously OWNS [img]/images/graemlins/drool2.gif[/img] Ty sounds wicked as hell, but it is not my cup o tea vocal wise!

                    Scapegoat..I can see the JP similarites , but I never thought of that..cool..I like that song..I can see the Owens comparison on the high pitched harmonized tracks...and they're both mid tempo songs..A singer can go nuts with a mid tempo song..I love Ty's voice..I wanted him to induldge as much as possible..its a vocal tune...its three notes really..                     Death Perception. Weird thing happened. My 10 yearl old boy plays drummer and he's pretty friggin' good already he has great meter and quick steadt kicks. This song was thrown together in 15 minutes jammin' with my boy. I had some "riffs" I was toying with. He threw that thrash blast beat and I totaly went for "whatever"..and I taped it. Ty liked it..said yeah I got Vocals for that ..and that was it. That came out of a spontaneous Jam with the kiddie and It just stuck.. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

                    Father Felon the solo is VERY shrilly and incoherant all together..Its a worked out piece with some cool phrasing. My dude recording is was baked and passed out. We had taped it at a much too low of a level..when mixing..we had to push it into the reds to even hear it...it sounds HORRIBLE...very thin , noisey and shrilly..distorteded...that little short shred thing toeards the end is up at a higher level and your can hear the differtence in tone..but that off the cuff crap is on Ty's track..you can hear me getting cut off a bit in time for him to sing...we ran outta time to do it again.. [img]/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif[/img]

                    High Speed ..Yes I came up with half of that crap with my kid. He loves Nick Barker of Dimmu/Cradle..his favorite drummer . I like that particular riff too..I think its a real heabanger. I writing more stuff like that ..It's just fun riffs and grooves to play . Ty wanted to give "Death" a shot. That was his first attempt at it. Not bad a stab in that style for the first try..I woldn't mind mixing that up more for dynamics sake. Aggressive music requires aggressive vocals for me. We both love classic swedish death thrash (At the gates , Carcass , old Soilwork etc.) ..that was our nod to that..alot of people can take or leave that vocal style.

                    My only regret at this point is not having anthing better or worthy "studio" stuff to show you guys. [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

                    I'm glad you guys even like this rough tape ..that makes me feel real good. I know what it COULD sound like. I going to try to make that happen.

                      Bill, thats the first time I've heard any of your stuff and I like what I hear. Its good and tight, not all sloopy and loose like much of speed metal is nortorious for. To tighten it up like you guys have, isn't all that easy to pull off, but you did. Kudos just for that. The first(Father Felon) and the third(Scapegoat)IMO showcase the overall talent and songwriting. Good stuff Bill. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

                                Bill, you're preachin' to the choir here about the rectifiers. I don't like them at all. Some of the Mark series amps are cool and the Lonestar is cool too for a different vibe.
