Cheers mateyouir right about the mixing on early tunes(most of them)These tunes were only ever done for competition and at the time the mix was never included in the rules so i never bothered.As long as the lead was heard then that was good enough for me,even if the bone dry drums where way up front in them mix..lol.
I will make sure to find time from bands and start work on instrunmental work after christmas as i should realy do a proper cd as every tom dick and harry out there on the net has loads!!!lol
But i want to do it right so i expect i will read a few mixing books and buy a dvd to get pannings and levels correct with the right FX
