YEs he is fast and can play , but i took lessons from JJW(not only guitar lessons but also beer drinking lessons), and i like his playing more Rusty's.Also i dont have nothing against Cooley his licks are very cool , and he can play slow stuff too, if he wants to.

I wanted to say , imo JJW is a better guitarist. But still i think it is unfair that some players have just faster fingers than others, like rusty, most of the people cant play like that even if they practiced cause they dont have that fast fingers

and you can play what ever the fuck you want in instructional videos, it's purpouse is to help the others gain speed and articulation.

Made it to 1:26 which is damn good for me. Started out great then the "over"-sweeps got to be too much. Additionally, I don't believe you have to be an accomplished player like him to realize that certain styles of playing make ya yawn. Rusty is the Man! I've known him for a while Via them jemsite and I'm impressed with his playing! I wish I could play like that, because then it would open up worlds for me to be able to write what I want and I wouldn't be constricted by technical abilities! well I have to go practice! but I love this stuff!

That's awesome stuff. Just because he can play fast doesn't mean he can't play melodically. Hell, even Yingyang can play some good melody.
