• JCF Jam 3 1/2

I'd say it was jam 4 but jam 3 got lost in space I jest.

Any way I have a track available, so I dont mind working a tune. Its a longer track, like 50 seconds or so, I think the final song will have room for 6 or 7 and be around 5 minutes.

I'll carry on with the last way of doing it, email me a wav file with just the guitar track, and also send at least the first 10 seconds or so of the backing and your part together so I can time the start of it.

Add effects on your end if you want, doesn't matter to me if there is delay or whatever on your track. If its muddy it will have to do, whatever you send.

Also I will do the same, list the names and you can guess who etc. nothing different.

If the mix of the track here isn't that great, don't worry, the final result will be fixed up. I will probably redo the rhythm track anyway for a better tone etc.

Save this

What are the chords? Preferred scale? It's nice, but somehow doesn't fit in with my PentaLydian box forms

The first section is Gm-C-F, second is just Em7b5, then A#-Am-C. F major is the base scale for all sections, so think of the first section as G dorian, second as E locrian, last section as A# Lydian.

Thanks. Doesn't mean a friggin thing to me, however, since I only know two Pentatonic scales and one Mixolydian scale I learned from an old Alex Skolnik article in GW years ago - hence my PentaLydian Box Forms
So if I fumble around in G, E, and A long enough I should be able to find two notes worth stringing together?

I'm assuming you know minor pentatonics Newc? In that case you could just do the whole thing in D. I haven't listened to the track yet but that's my best guess

Yes... F Major = D Minor.
