    first try at this stuff be gentle I'm old

    Here's a first shot at this recording stuff.

    Just down load it , it won't play because It was a wav file and I saved it as an mp3.
    my 3 year old daughter was trying to grab my whammy bar while I was playing so there are a couple of mistakes but I think the amp sounds pretty good.
    Jackson Sl2H staight into a B-52 At 100 combo.
    Just straight into an SM57> Mobile pre usb > cool Edit Pro 2000.
    I need to re do it without hacking it up, and I'd like the guitar to bigger sounding as well

    Sounded great to me. Nice tone, I should check out one of those B-52s.

      i couldnt hear this track there mate,my machine didnt like the MP3 streamer they use.email it to me and i will comment

        the streamer won't work it errors because it was a .wav file saved as an mp3 I emailed it to you.
        I didn't realize they ask you to join to download this.
        tht kind of sucks.
        can anyone else host this for me until I get a real mp3 of it tonight so I can put it again?

                was playing. I'm going to re do again when I get a chance,
                couple of f* ups especially towards the end.
                I'm really more interested in what people thing of the sound of the amp.
                I'm really digging it. It's nice and crunchy even at low volumes.

                    As for the tone of the amp, it sounds good enough to me.

                    Not sure what you mean by a "bigger sound" - sounds pretty close to the original, and is nice and beefy.

                            hey, nice tone Nick, if you want a bigger sound then you can use additional mics. A room mic(s) would be great, they catch the room ambience and make the mix sound huge.
