That's a Vinnie Moore tune called "With the Flow" off of the "Out of Nowhere"
CD.
Gustavo is a good player , but trying to pass off one of the Vinmans tunes as his own is pretty bush league.
Nice cover of a cool Vinnie Moore tune.Last edited by kmanick; 09-02-2006, 08:40 AM.If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

absolutely, the guy that got me back into playing after 20 years is like that. I can ask him to learn anything (and I mean anything) and 2 days later he'll play it for me note for note, with perfect vibrato etc. Shred, jazz classical, it doesn't matter, just one of these guys with an unbelievable ear and tons of theory knowledge.
Listen to his original stuff and you would have no idea how technically proficient he is. It's actually pretty lame, back in the day before I quit playing I would go to his recording sessions and "help" him write because although he could smoke me as a player I was way more creative than he was and I was never afraid to let loose, where he would always stiffen up when playing his originals.
These guys usually make great teachers.
I know my friend should be teaching at Berklee he's just too fucking lazy to get his act together. If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?

Honestly, I don't give a squirt of piss when someone cops a 23 year old Yngwie ditty note for note..Unless Yngwie does it. I had his instruction tapes too..I COULD have "copied" them..but what's the fuggin' point?
Whenever I see this I go into Andrew "Dice" Clay mode..
