  • Here's some live video...

I came across this video of the family band playing at the IROCK last fall. The band is my nephew Chris on drums, his twin brother Ryan on guitar, my brother Jeff on bass and me on guitar. The boys have their own original band, but for fun, my brother and I force them to learn 80's covers and jam with us It is alot of fun... The funny thing about all this is that I was in an original band at the time too, and we had played this particular club a few times last fall as well. A couple of months after this video was shot, I was at the club to see George Lynch... some dude came up to me and was like "You are the guy in the band with the kids..." I guess my "real" band wasn't quite as memorable. Anyway, some video.

Electric Eye Solo. My brother would kill me if he knew I posted this. He's not a singer and only does it because no one else would Actually, he's not even a bass player.

The family band live, playing "Electric Eye" from Judas Priest!

Phantom of the Opera solos. On this, Ryan is playing his dads 1986 Model 4. That guitar is sweet... I'm always trying to take it from him I'm using the RR1 that I sold recently.

The Family Band live at the IROCK... solos for "Phantom of the Opera".

You Can't Stop Rock n Roll solo. The boys are always complaining about this one... "That song is gay..." Personally, I think it is a blast to play.

The family bands take on the Twisted Sister Classic, "You Can't Stop Rock n Roll".

Wow! A lot of talent in your familly.

How old is your nephew Chris? His drumming sounds real "heavy" and not like a "kid" playing.

Thanks! The boys had just turned 14 at the time.
