improvising a solo

i've been palying guitar for allmost 2 years now.. i've got many things down but cant compare to people on the board with many years of experience.

anyway i was trying to just improvise and play over a nice backing track.. after many takes nothing worked.. so i decided to run the backing track again and have another practice before recording.. i thought i was just practicing and messin around but when i was done i realized it recorded it!
ended up coming out pretty nice.. still a newb tho

It sounds like you're sharp though...either not in tune with the track or your pulling the strings sharp.

i dont know.. it sounded fine to me but then again its just me.. it might be a tiny bit too sharp and im a too of a newb to realize it

Sounds like you're doing pretty good, keep it up!

I agree that it sounds just a little out of tune with the backing track, and perhaps you are pulling the strings sharp now and then.
You'll work through that sort of stuff as you keep playing.

My advice to you, keep this recording and as you progress in your playing go back and listen to it, it will be nice to gauge your improvements.

My second piece of advice is to work on a strong vibrato. That's the thing that will make this sort of playing really become expressive.
