Pat - You should buy a Line 6 UX1 or Rifftracker. They're both really easy to use... forget about the big manual!

Matt - Actually, I've had a Toneport UX1 for a year or two. It's cool and easy to use. But it mostly goes unused because of the recording software that it's packaged with (Abelton Live Lite). ...That's where the thousand page manual comes in.

Ableton is kinda tough to learn, try Cakewalk or Pro Tools.

They'll be able to run with the Toneport? Cool.

Matt, slighty rough mix and drums aside..it was very cool.
Nah,I thought it kicked ass period. Sounded like a Recto model?
I really thought the details where covered well and you paid attention to placing them in accentual spots. (like the harmonies)
The panned drone thing was cool too.. I've working with Riffworks and have done some drone stuff too for effect in background as the layering is really easy to do. The sections were laid out very well.

The solo was very tasteful yet rippin, good job.

You can use Ableton live with Riffworks as well. I haven't gotten to that point in my recording but I hope to interface other modelers as well live mic'd stuff into RW through Ableton w/o having latency issues.

Nice playing Matt. Do you by chance remember the settings used on your POD 2.0. I recently picked one up and haven't messed around that much with it. If you could would you post the settings you used to record with?
