Randy Rhoads (Over the Mountain)

I would like to ask a favor. Randy Rhoads is my favorite guitarist. I can not play Over the Mountain. Would some one please add a video to this section of the song or just the solo. I know this is weird, but it would help me out seeing it played. Thank you in advance. I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't believe there was ever a professional MTv-style video done for any of Ozzy and Randy's work (except for the much later Tribute "Crazy Train" vid). Nor do I think there is any bootleg footage of OTM but you could probably check on randyrhoadstk.com for that.

Check out youtube, there's probably some vids of someone else playing it and don't forget to tune down.

Shawn, yes I have the tribute tab book. It's just hard for me to read tab. I know that sounds stipud. I have dyslexia so reading and stuff is hard for me. If I can see someone play something, I can get it better. Thanks for replying.

Huh? Over The Mountain is in the Tribute book? It's not in my book, and that song is not even on that album.

Tribute was mostly Blizzard tunes and Sabbath, only DOAM tunes were Believer and Flying High Again.

If you were an early Rhoads fan in the 80s, that Tribute album was such a monumental release. I remember waiting and waiting until that hit the shelves to get a chance to hear more Randy and to hear it live.
