Just tried my compositional wings on a Mike Varney-style technique demonstrator track for a friend who asked me to do this. I called it Crispin's Day because I was watching Henry V while I wrote the arpeggios, if anyone asks
It's recorded using my Jackson DK-2 and a POD XT.
Bass guitar is my DK-2, pitch-bent an octave down and then passed through Amplitube.
Keyboard solo is me playing a VAZ Modular synthesizer.
The BT is self-made with some GM harpsichord and some VST plugins.
Feel free to listen, and to critique anything that may come to mind!
