something about the rhythm reminded me of priest, i, too was a crimson glory fan (have transcendence on cd), and i'm sure priest was an influence on at least some of those bands...it's kinda weird how influences work, i was into george, vai, demartini but never really eddie, but you put all those together and all of a sudden you can kinda play eddie, i never considered him that big of an influence but when i stepped back and looked at the people i listened to, he influenced them and indirectly me....the priest comment was absolutely not a slam though, like ac/dc, priest had some killer grooves and your song has one as well...d.m.
