Me playing Children of Bodom

[Deadnight]

Here is a short recording I made of the chorus part to "You're Better Off Dead!" by Children of Bodom. I played both guitar parts but made the keyboard and drum tracks in MIDI (tabbed into guitar pro then exported as midi)

I still need to practice the lead guitar part. It's a bit sloppy at the end. It's a mixture of sweep picking and fret tapping at the same time.
Definatly not easy.

Holy crap! I'm not really a Children Of Bodom fan yet since I haven't heard any of their stuff besides their covers of Iron Maiden's "Aces High" and "The Trooper", but damn, this sounds pretty wicked! I'll download the original song of "You're Better Off Dead!" now!

I downloaded Children Of Bodom's version of "You're Better Off Dead!" and then I compared your recording to it. Wonderful! Even though you had a unique guitar sound quite different from the real song, it sounded damn sweet.

Dude , that's a real great job of that song . I know that stuff isn't easy. Keep it up , do have original stuff along those lines. I love that stuff!!!!! I'm using the word stuff alot right now and I don't know why..
