I've been using GUITARBACKINGTRACK for some time now... it lets you preview the song in low quality before downloading the proper track. VERY useful.

Youtube also makes it easy for people to share and search for songs. Of particular interest are the video game master tracks from the Rock Band and Guitar Hero series with guitar tracks removed so it's easy to play over those.
