hmm if you don't want to spend a lot of money on getting a better tone, get yourself a amp modeler like an pod 2 or v-amp you can plug in directly into your soundcard ( line in )

Hehe, I know, the tone sucks bad. I recorded it on the MICROPHONE input of my soundcard, because I couldn't get the regular (not amplified) input to work.
