BtR song (My band) Super Ruff track

[Ruxspin]

This is by no means the best recoding possible. It was done with a single mic in Sound Proof garage (sound proof my ass). 1 Guitar (me) and drums (my drummer) dediced to try out cool edit last night. Set-up mic -> mixer -> cpu -> cool edit program. Just looking for thoughts on the song. any feedback would greatly be appreciated.

quick notes

The clean intro was cut out somewhere in the mix (we hit rec too late hahah). The intro WILL sound empty due to no bass and no 2nd guitarist. i did my best to do dbl duty last night.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Thx for the input Thoraby. We had to make a compromise somewhere with the mic placement: Because we only had one mic we had to place it somewhere where we thought it would sound ok. The mic was actually place a good 8-10 ft away from my cab. As for the drums, the mic was about 4-5 feet away the kit. It's possible that its the echo in the recording that makes everything sound so far away and less ummmmm BALLZiE. but yeah, thx again Thoraby. We should make another recording today with our bass player this time. Will do some AtG tunes and maybe a Sepultura/Slayer song. see how it turns out.

Update: We recorded with the bass lines last night. doing some *Editing* (just cutting it up) and I should have the update online by tommorw!
