Re: Abyssal Plain

Great stuff, I loved the mood of the piece. The tone was really good, both rhythym and lead. The part where the lead guitars first come it in (around 1:00 or so) was striking. It's good to hear a nice long complex heavy piece. Kind of like a heavier space age Alice Cooper type feel to it or something...

Thanks you guys. I was shootin' for that dark/heavy quality. Glad it came across as intended.

Very cool. I liked it alot. The rythm tone was very authoritative. And the lead tone was agressive yet satisfying. The use of the wah was tasteful and not over cooked. The whole mix of the soup dejour was exquisite and dilectable. Yet left me wanting more. The chicken was well tenderized and flakey,The sauce was sweet yet tart but not over powering. AHhhhhhhrg *thwap*
Damn im hungry now. I don't know why.

The solos reminded me of some Arch Enemy songs, where the Ammott Bros. trade off leads. Very cool, very nice tone!
