My KISS cover band

LoveGuns, the KISS cover band that I play in for fun (all of the other members have kids and stuff, so we can only get together to rehearse once a month or so) played our very first gig this past Saturday night, at Shibuya Lantern in Tokyo.

I'm the dude with the "Ace" makeup, playing the blue Ibanez.

My wife took a couple of videos with her digicam, although it ran out of juice during our final number

The "makeup" was stickers made from colored felt material. 600yen ($6.00) for the set of four (Paul, Gene, Ace, and Peter), what a bargain

Wow... The responses are coming out of the woodwork all of a sudden

Thanks guys! Indeed we had a blast. There was a guy in the audience who told me at the end of the show that we were the most fun to watch and listen to out of the three bands that played. I figure, if it's not fun, why bother?

Brian, LoveGuns will be playing in Shibuya on July 12th (Saturday). Will you be in Japan on that date?
