now down to business: I recorded the following short clip after I put my EMG 85 in the bridge...listen to how good it sounds...(IMO anyway!!) It consists of only 2 guitar tracks.

BTW think you have to "save target as..." to make it work.

I recorded using: IbanezZz RG with EMG 85 in the bridge -> POD 2.0 -> M-audio audiophile soundcard -> Cubase SX and then I just exported to mp3.

I don't recall the exact settings on the POD, but I got the tone by tweaking the preset at 1A "big rectifier", I think the settings are in my tech q&a thread ("new EMG configuration")

This is my first post here, and I have only recently started playing the guitar, but that's a killer ass sounding riff, really nice, exactly the type of sound I go for. Keep it up man.

Very nice! [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and say that has a definate George Lynch / Dokken sound. Promise me one thing....Don't put some looped drum track behind that. Write something unique on a drum machine like a BOSS DR770.
