Hi again all.
Finished a short 2:30 song. It's just a lil shred/metal riff thingy I did up. No real strong structure or anything fancy.

Anyways, I WANT criticism on the mix, and all that good stuff. Let me know what frequencies need fine tuning and anything else that could make things sound better.

I really feel im getting a good sound out of this unit, but thats through my personal gear, so im curious how it sounds on your stuff out there.

Id love to hear what y'all think. Thanks for any constructive criticism!

Jeff, the sound quality is pretty good IMO!
Catchy rock riffs too...the solos/fills up to around 1:30 sound a bit monotone and "staccato", but that's soon forgotten when you let it rip after that.
The last solo needs to be a little louder too.

Great stuff bro! I keep fogetting to check this section out....Damn! I've probably missed alot. I alway get the urge to record when I check this section out but, I need one of these units so I don't loose the insperation by the time I'm hooked up and ready to go.

Hey Dave, I suffer from the same problem. Ive had the right gear for a while, BUT, I only record every once in a blue moon. So much to get somethign started and going, and half way thru you get sick and scratch it all.


Drums are the Drumkit From Hell samples played through Battery. There is a Touch of a Waves Reverb in there and I Eq'd the treble up a little so it sounded a little more "live".

I need to invest in a Midi kit, coz all my drums are done by hand in the Cubase Midi editor, as well as Bass.

Time consuming, but fun. I never get too crazy with bass or drums just coz it's too much crap [img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img]
