Short clip... Something different?

The piezo debate got me started on playing around the piezo guitar with distortion...

So, here's a quick, short something you guys might find interesting and different.

What do you think? Is it worth me learning the whole piece and doing a quality recording after my kelly gets here? I certainly had tons of fun playing it.

Sure the E guitar has a hard time being as expressive as the cello.. but I thought it sounds cool.. and I had fun playing it. [img]graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

mm... I guess...

Amongst all the metal 'rip your head off' types threads on this seciton... only mine is like... happy type classical stuff... Does sound rather out of place.

But still..
The piece has a long background intro. I included a bit of it in the clip... so if you want to hear the guitar, fast forward. It starts at about the half point...

I'm gonna go ahead and learn the whole piece and polish it, record it with a solid body anyway... I like it...

BTW, my classical guitar friend went to the DT show in toronto last night, and came back with videos of it. The live performance didn't change much about my opinion still -_-

ummm... back off on the gain. It's so distorted, it's hard to tell what the hell you're playing.

Yeah I agree with you, it's quite messy.

Though I think it's more of the piezo and my bad playing... Need to familiarize with the piece more.

Still, not too bad man, just not my cup of tea. Roll off the gain and it will tighten things up a bit. Nice overall though.

Gain wise.. this is afterall, and experiment...
I'm gonna polish it and record it properly on a solid body...

Hey man, no offense meant. You asked what do we think, and I told. I know it will sound better when given the right circumstances and apparatus, but you asked about this piece, and I told.
