Hey there,

I just listened to Eagle fly free. It sounded to me like it's missing something, sounds like it has no direction, going nowhere. Also, i thought it was kind of boring, same stuff over and over without a rythm change or something to wake you up.

The tone was ok. Drums are the worst part of it, absolutely lifeless.

Maybe if you cut it down to 3 and a half to 4 minutes it would be much more interesting.

Just my two cents though.

What gear did you use to record it?

You could try guitar tracks from Cakewalk. It's fairly easy to use and it provides way more flexibility than the tools you are using right now.

And after that, you may switch to Cubase SX, where you can get AMAZING results.

So who's singing? It's kinda like old Judas Priest stuff.

It's starts ok, but it gets boring, coz' it doesn't change a bit...

You can use the same elements you have now, but try making it appear not all at the same time, but gradually.

For example. First, just the guitar, then the bass guitar, then the lead guitar, and finally, the lyrics. Also, if you're going to use the same guitar chords, try making the bass guitar a little more interesting, by adding arpegios, harmonics or different rythm figures.

hey thanx for listening, the gear i used was my rr1 rhoads and a boss 4 track digital recorder, the amp modeling and the drum machine built into the thing. there realy wasnt much anywhere to go with it cause i cant realy change the drums, i can switch to a different beat but then it sounds like it doesnt fit at all. none of the beats realy go well together at all.i hate the drumms on it [img]graemlins/puke.gif[/img] but they are better than the incredibly shyty loops on my digitech.
i just plugged the boss into my line in on my comp and recorded it with sonar.
