ummm...a lot of people have told me i sound a lot like george...lol...first time i've tried to cut one of his solos...it was...an experience ...glad you liked it tho ...d.m.
yo shawn...wassup? ...glad you liked it...i prob. could've done a little better if i'd actually sat down and learned the solo as opposed to listening to it and saying "i think i can get pretty close"...it's been years since i even tried playing it...and i never learned it all the way thru ... d.m.
Hi DM just to say that was a smokin version. The lead tone is very reminiscent of Lynch's haunting reverb well done What gear did you use to record with?? Did you use an amp modeller or real amp?? Also what software did you use.

same thing i always use...an ampeg ss140c thru a 4x12, miced into a mckie 1604 board and into a tascam 238 8 track recorder...dropped into computer on soundforge...so yeah...a real amp ...d.m.
That's pretty damn good, I feel like I can get the rhythm as close as George himself, but I have to cheat to get the solo!
I still keep practicing though.... Mostly because I hate my neighbors.-MakeAJazzNoiseHere
