pretty cool. Not my cup of tea but I dig your guitar tone. Drums seem a little flat but otherwise pretty nice job

Heh, fun stuff. I liked it,great playing. I liked the tone too. I also liked that you stuck to mostly rockabilly/blues riffs. I fucking hate it when people play that kind of music and solo with high gain and shred licks, it's the dumbest thing in the world.
I'm sorry but your singing blows

Re: Roll Over Beethoven!

Yeah Shawn, the drums need more dynamics tweaking.

Markpb. I tried some diatonic stuff too, but finally i dumped those and kept the pentatonic licks although i used some chromatism here and there. I'm gonna try someone else doing the vocals, to se if it gets better

What did you find wrong with the vocals? My voice, the way i sing, pronunciation, too flat, too loud, out of tune?

Thanks for listening guys.

Ahhh the vocals are passable, your voice is just a little weak, thats all. Oh well so is mine so there ya go. You'll just have to settle for being a guitar hero or something

Cool tune. I was hoping you'd stay clean for the lead, but it was still cool.

I actually thought your singin' was pretty good. Stayed in key, maybe a lil' raspy at times, but overall everything sounded damn good. Loved the guitar work. Had MY foot tappin!

@NOR: It never crossed my mind dude! I'm gonna try it and see how it goes, thanks for the tip.

@MARK: Yeah, my voice indeed is a little on the treble side, but i'm working on trying to make it better and learning tricks to work around it.

@MHALSEY: Thanks! The raspy stuff is actually one of the things i like to do, go figure!
Go and listened to my version of Gary Moore's Walking by Myself, it may keep your foot tappin...

Very cool, I'm glad you didn't try to
shred it. I think your voice is fine,
better than a lot of club bands I've heard.

Thanks SNC2716,

I just let the base run and record the solo in one take. The intro i had a little more trouble tryin' to get it right but i finally pick the version it's in this recording.

sounds good to me...maybe roll a litle of the highs off of the vocals...tone was great, playing was too...d.m.

Thanks for listening D.M.,

I'm doing a new mix right now, i'll try taking the highs off a little, and a little less reverb. Also, i'm gonna let the guitars sound more dry.

Thanks DK2! I agree with you. Of the versions i remember, Johnny B Goode from Judas Priest was a really nice one.
