  • Rosewood Smoking new tune...

    Guys and Gals,

Thanks to everyone who listened to "Reconcile" and even more thanks to those who left such encouraging comments. It really touched me.

    Here is my latest composition:

If you like it - please leave a "shout" in the shout box at the bottom.

    It's currently entered into Sonoma's Riff-Rumble 11: Heat-wave song competition.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to listen to this.
    I hope you like it.

    Alex (aka Daywalker and Loadstar)

Nice stuff there mate. Good riffing. The rythm tone is a bit thin but it's very well done.

Martin - Thanks for listening and the constructive critiscim.
When you say thin, do you think its the sound or the absence of a bass line?
      Any feedback is great...
      Thanks!
      Alex.

I can't get turning it up loud cos the baby and wife are asleep, but I'd guess from re-listening to it, the lack of bass is a problem. The riff is not based around thick chords, so it's more noticable that there's not much bottom end.
Buy yourself a cheap bass, you can get them dirt cheap on ebay and it's good fun messing around with them on your tracks.
