    the solo is really hard...well, maybe cuz i havent been playing long enough, but still (1 n half yrs)

      Yeah, sound quality didn't come out as good as other vids I've done. Not sure why. Oh well. I don't try to figure out solos. I just play what I feel like playing, a la old school Maiden, right!

            Maiden always played their solos live pretty much note for note as per the records. Until that tool Janick joined and his poor technicality ruined it.
            I'm like you though, I never try to figure out solos unless it's to play covers in my "band". I like to just play what I feel like. That said, I feel like I've improved a lot since trying to learn solos correctly - feels satsifying to hit a solo properly, even a pretty simple one like "Ace of Spades" or Def Leppards "Tear It Down".
