  • Strat God's New Tune (Lady Of The Lake)

Just finished this up this week. Recorded in the basement like the others.
Drums came out better on this recording- I used ONE large-diaphram condenser mic for the whole drum kit placed about 3 feet away. Stratocaster through a full Marshall stack and bass and keys direct into the board. Delay and flanging with the Lexicon unit.

Tell me if you like it....

Sounds good to me! Kinda Rush-esque with the tom fills and keys. I like the guitar sound.

          Very nice Strat God!

I have to admit that when I opened this thread I was looking forward to cool rendition of the classic Rainbow tune
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.

            'Howling in shadows
            Living in a lunar spell
            He finds his heaven
Spewing from the mouth of hell'

Thanks guys - Guess I gotta try makin it sound more 'original' and less like someone else. I really hear Rush in there.
