I'll be frank with you guys, when "Metal Andy" left Slavantas Earlier this year I kinda felt lost, we shared a lot of the leads on our songs and because our styles differed so much from each other, the contrast was what made our music work.
Metal Andy, playing at our Debut gig in September.
So after he left I decided to look for a player with who'm I could replicate that contrast, somebody with who'm I could trade solos and have that two guitar symbiosis I had with Andy. Luckely my old friend Jacques "Jack T Ripper" Joosten was willing to fill the void. I played with Jack T in several incarnations of a band called "Format Brain" and I've known him for over ten years so he was the ideal man for the Job. He's a player who's style I'm familiar with and he's familiar with my style, so we already know what the other is capable of.

Jack T is taking playing with us very seriously as evident that he actually recorded some clips of him playing the solos he penned for our songs. I figure it might be fun to show you guys the difference between Jack T and Metal Andy.
Metal Andy's leads can be heard on the live version of "Back in balance" and he does the second solo in "Slavantas" on the Myspace player.
And here's Jack T playing the solos he's gonna put in place of the ones that Metal Andy played.
