    Awesome stuff curt.

Everything about the band and robbin are extremely interesting to me.

There needs to be a documentary on robbin, I would love to be a part of it!

Always love the info from curt and sully. So appreciative of it.

That Breedlove is gorgeous, especially the back.

Yeah, it's awesome indeed. Curt will explain further, but Robbin didn't like it as much as one would think; I believe the quote was "It's not as nice as I thought it'd be."

          I have another question!

Robbin is credited on Jon Bon jovi's blaze of glory album. Anyone know which song he played on?

Also it seems that was a tough time for robbin 1990, I'm surprised he was in the studio.

Seems he had a great relationship with the Bon jovi guys. Wish I was old enough in 85 to see that tour.

Robbin is credited with acoustic guitars on the song 'Never Say Die'

Also around this time, he began working with 'Lillian Axe' on pre-production for their upcoming album...which he produced.

That was what drove me to get the Lillian Axe record; I remember seeing the video for Dream of a Lifetime on the last hour of Headbanger's Ball, and dug it. When I heard Robbin was involved with producing it, I ran out and got it the next day. Solid record, for sure.

Thats the gamble with wood. It can look amazing and be built technically perfect but still sound like a turd. (Or not as nice as you'd expect at least...)

                  True, but it's pretty nice.

Yeah, it IS nice.... Robbin just thought that 'for the money, it should be nicer!'

It sounds fantastic plugged in or not.

Robbin's solo on "Never use love" kicks so much ass. The speed, the melody... it has everything.
Two guitars are better than one.

so does anyone know how to accurately play closer to my heart by any chance? there are no tabs for the song that are accurate anywhere.

this guy plays lots of ratt songs and they sound great, I am in the middle of learning from this video the whole song.....I think the tab for the solo is correct but not the rhythm....

anyway I am confused as to what the guy is doing at the :42 second mark to the :44 second mark.....I guess just cant hear it that well....the old tabs floating around have that as a G major chord to a B minor chord

so what do you think is this accurate?

Looks to me like the player (you?) is mixing Warren & Robbin's parts....but sounds really good to my ears! Nice job!!

In a one guitar band that would cover the 'essence' of the song perfectly.

What tab are you usung? Is it one of the the commercial songbooks?

I have a few...let me know which one you are using.

No thats not me. I think that is a guy in japan. He covers alot of ratt songs and plays them by ear.

as far as I go, yea I have the invasion tab book which seems to be inaccurate and various japan magazines of warren and robbin but none of them tab closer to my heart. the online tabs and powertabs are all just copies of the invasion tab book..

I just bought the japanese band score with tab version of invasion of your privacy....I am really really hoping it is accurate for both guitar parts!!!! I was told it is but it wont be here for a week or so more so I wont know till then......

the opening riff is right, that was a 12 string with a synthesizer doubling if I remember the interviews with robbin correctly....the rhythm and the solo seem off in the tab books though!
