I was thinking of getting a Jackson for years, but I wasn't able to buy one until last september. I am very satisfied with the choice, especially considering the fact, that I bought it blindly, without being able to try it first.Comment

Yeah, Jacksons aren't really the easiest or cheapest score over that side of the pond. About a decade ago one of my friends from Finland wanted to get a Jackson but couldn't really afford the prices over there... so I ended up buying one for him and shipping it to him. It's still his #1 guitar too.
I'm surprised more people aren't commenting... maybe because you play 8-string so well and 8 string confuses most people here.The 2nd Amendment: America's Original Homeland Defense.Comment

I was playing Ibanez, but this Jackson is definitely a better option, than the RGA8, for an example - the neck is more comfortable, also the price is lower. I like the 26.5" scale, which feels better, than the 27" one of the Ibanez, because my hands are not that big to play the things I want on bigger scale.
I use the 8-string, because I planned to do and licks for 7 and 8 strings, also this is the best guitar I've got right now
