    Hey all....

    i'm practicing fast position changes, for example these diminished minor arpeggios:

    how would your left arm move when playing this? i find it difficult to accurately make my left hand "jump" from one fret to a relatively distant one.

    I lift the index finger a bit and slide upwards. You might want to play such position changes like this first:

    e-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-12-11-10-9-8-7-etc

    There's no string change involved and you can concentrate on your left hand.
