Help on building good technique and speed

I've been playing a bit over a year now, and I'm since I have no proper training, would someone like to look over movies of how I play to point out mistakes in my playing and what I can do to improve?

actually, my bit of advice is to go out and buy a video or 2. john petrucci's rock discipline isn't a bad one to get. also get stetina's books and stuff. anything that u can get ur hands on really.
