Yes I agree guitar is a "bad" instrument to learn theory on. Instead of learning scales horizontally like on piano it is more about vertical movement and memorizing scale patterns. I like to keep a keep a keyboard near by when I'm teaching, I should probably get a minature one or something to make it even easier [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]
