One little thing I've noticed REALLY helps to avoid nervousness and especially, bad performances, is to know the songs like the back of your hands. Be able to play the songs one hundred times in a row without ANY mistakes. Yeah, I know that sounds fairly DUH DUH DER and obvious, but a lot of people still make such mistakes. I had to sing a song in front of my class last week. I decided to sing Emperor's I am the Black Wizards. I even made an accompaniment tape in my little studio. I bombed it, because I didn't practice it enough and thought I could fake it. Totally didn't happen. [img]/images/graemlins/sick.gif[/img] Very embarassing. I'll never make that mistake again.
