• slayer solos?

i know this is going to sound really stupid but which one should i learn first ? i don't want to sit and look and say wtf If you guys could name some from the easiest to the hardest?

Re: slayer solos?

Kerry's solo in War Ensemble is pretty easy (the second one), many a solo off Show No Mercy sound manageable even though I've never learned one myself. Die By The Sword and Black Magic come to my mind.
Oh, and Jeff's solo in Seasons In The Abyss isn't that hard too. Mandatory Suicide is another easy one from Jeff.

If you want a harder one that doesn't last so long (good step from easy stage), you might try Disciple.

Alex smokes! My old band opened up for Stu Hamm's band with Alex on guitar in Tampa. It was right after Testament. I was even more impressed then. He barely even used distortion. All cool jazz chords and whatnot. Before that, I knew only the shred stuff. Great player. Plus, he was a cool guy. No attitude. At least none I saw.

Why not learn 'em all at once: just flop your fingers around as fast as you can and pick random strings.

No office to Kerry King, but he doesn't really know how to write good songs.

It's Slayer. That's their style of playing. It doesn't sound like neoclassical shred, and that was never their intention anyway. Deal with it.

Yeah dude, I'm sure they've been around for 20 plus years by writing songs no one wants to hear

I can deal with it. Slayer has only has one great album "Reign In Blood". They've gone downhill after that album. Can you deal with my opinion.
