Having trouble connecting to parts in a song.

What do you do when you try to connect ?

It's 2 guitars doing the Harmonzing, then they harmonize again but on higher notes.

Its hard to get them connnected [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

I'm guessing you mean what to put in between to make it work?

I'd say a minor and soft drumroll, if it's a melodic and gentle harmony, if it's a full blown bpm monster duel, I'd advise some fast and heavy drumroll, with a pickslide of sorts. Or a keyboard which plays a little tune, or some sort of chord.

A full stop might do good too, if the first harmony part is gentle, and the second goes at it full throttle, you could make the seperation clearer and cooler but adding a full stop in between both parts, then starting the second part again with a brief and insane drumroll (Ytse Jam), and then BAM go into it at full speed.

are you playing both parts or another guitar player with U. & whats not connecting the timing or the notes.

Well there is 2 guitars harmonizing. I created it both.



Notes i guess is the problem.

the part where the chord comes in after the intro. that part doesn't fit. either does the little scale before the higher notes take in.

I have to be honest here. I don't hear anything wrong, sounds nice and proggy. I'd keep it personally, and let some of the chords ring out under the harmonies.

So the last chord before a series of harmony notes would continue to ring out under the serie.
