• The talking guitar

Hey, how can you make a guitar do a laughing noise, kind of like what Steve Vai does in Yankee Rose? This should probably be in the technique section, but I wanted to get it in front of as many eyes as possible!

Wah, strong bending, whammy.

You can also use a voice-driven distortion box, like Peter Frampton.
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

They're called Talk Boxes. Peter Frampton and David Gilmour both used them. I think Nazareth uses on on Hair of the Dog.

1 1/2 step bends while descending down the frets in 1 step increments will do it. A wah will help too. I usually do it on the G string starting at the 15th fret or so. Hold the first note longest and quicken the tempo as you descend. It impresses the kids anyway. Don't have my guitar but that should get you in the park.
