I'm into Savatage, Ratt, AC/DC, Yngwie and other 80's hard rock genre. I play rhythm mostly. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

Mostly 80's metal.Some blues, but I hit all the standards, plus I try to find players that really have some emotion behind them,like John Sykes,Billy Duffy,Y&T,Scorpions,etc...

For the band I play guitar in, we get compared to a lot of Swedish / Finnish bands (Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom, Dark Tranquillity) but with less aggressive drumming.

For the band I play bass in, it is a mixture of death metal, thrash metal, with a side serving of black metal. Or if you prefer a fusion of (old) Slayer meets Angel Corpse meets Dissection meets Emperor meets Venom.

In my free time I pretty much just play what I'm feeling. Sometimes its power metal, sometimes its death metal, sometimes its not even metal at all!

Pretty much 80's metal for me also. Anything from Metallica to Lynch Mob, Poison to OzzY and anything else in between.

I love playing any 80's metal but, am getting together with a drummer who likes to play alot of fast aggressive double bass stuff...which is kind of good for me. I'm enjoying the challenge of getting better at fast, odd timed, palm muting. Not that this stuff wasn't around during the 80's but, it is a little more modern sounding.

Prog metal, black metal, and death metal. Bands I take after most are Dream Theater, Symphony X, Darkthrone, Leviathan, Morbid Angel, and The Chasm.

My real passion is technical/progressive death metal....Stuff like Spawn of Possession, Severed Savior, Decrepit Birth, and Sleep Terror on the more brutal spectrum of things, and I really love bands like Forbidden, Martyr, and Cynic also.

In my old band, we used to play straight-out, balls to the walls metal ala Zakk Wylde. Used to be a lot of fun too. Unfortunately the singer got hooked up on drugs and all that crap and we had to let him and the bassist go (the bassist didn't do drugs but he was a lazy ass). Lately, me and the old drummer have been talking and are hopefully going to recruit another singer and bassist (possibly another guitarist) to start over from scratch. We'll probably still keep our BLS influences, but I've been getting into Bodom and inflames recently so we might try and lean that way too. Either way I hope it workds this time. Especially since a buddy of the drummer owns a studio and lets us use it for FREE!

Thrash for me. Speed it up and play it loud, don't stop till your finger's bleed or your drummer dies of a heart attack, then play it faster. When your bass player throws his bass to the floor and leaves in a fit, play faster. When the other guitar player smiles at you and keeps up, look to the heaven's and thank God for finding cloud 9. Welcome to Paradise my friend's, pay tribute to Dimebag and ask him to join in. From here on out nothing but good times.

I play anything that suits me, but at the moment I play in a Viking/folk metal band and in a Gothic/doom Metal band.
