Can anybody recommend a good guitar teacher in Manhattan ? I'm pretty bad (sloppy) so almost any teacher will do but I'm really looking to find someone more into Metal then Mozart.

Based on your username, I take it your a Geo. Lynch fan, right? If you haven't already, as a Lynch fan, you should check out his instructional videos. These videos (skill level) may be alittle advance for you, nonetheless, worth the buy.
Also, Paul Gilbert's first two videos are worth their weight in gold too.Peace, Love and Happieness and all that stuff...

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.
Yes, there's a bee in the pudding.

look up Chad Sonenberg, he's a GREAT guitarist as well as a great teacher....he was teaching at sam ash on 48th street. tell him bobby devito sent you, he'll get a kick out of it.
chad is a very able guitarist, and can play some circles around my old ass...
