So, whats everyones favorite pick?

After 10 years, I think Ive finally found what works best for me. First off, due to some nerve damage from a circular saw accident which left the left side of my right index finger without feeling about 4 years ago, I just cant use certain ones. I used to love Dunlop USA nylon 1mm's, but they feel too wierd with their grip now after the accident. I dont know where it came from, but Ive been using a Tortex H3 pick that I found for the past 6 months, and I cant play right without it now, I love it! Kinda hard to find though, so I just ordered two dozen of 'em off ebay.

So, my vote goes to the Dulop Tortex H3. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Though, my second favorite are the red/heavy Dunlop Gel pics. I've even got some of the yellow/extra heavy Gels and the 1.0mm Ultex, but pretty much my mainstay for many years have been the purple Gators.

Another vote for the indestructible tougher-than-post-nuclear-apocalyptic-cockroaches Dunlop Jazz III Stiffo (black) for electric guitar playing! I'm still using the very first Jazz III from a year and a half ago, still attacking the very same guitar with my heavy-handed pick attack! [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

I used to be a big Dunlop Tortex fan... still am when it comes to attacking my acoustic guitars. That much has stayed almost constant throughout my whole guitar-playing life.

But for electric guitars, I've lost track of the various kinds of picks I've tried, although I've saved them all in a drawer somewhere. I stayed with the Tortex picks for a while, trying the teardrop shape as well. Strangely enough, with all the many weird-brand-name picks that have crossed my path, I've never had a Fender pick before. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] You'd think that they'd be more common for me, but somehow they're not. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I was surprised I warmed up to my Jazz IIIs that quickly, considering I struggled with the Jazz Stubby (same size, different material/grip/thickness).
