Dunlop tortex 1.14 for me,I think I have about 5 dozen laying around.Also have a dozen Ultex,but haven't even opened them yet.Also have a 1.2 brass one that I don't use very often because it totally wipes the mid and low end tone out,got it mostly to work on technique.

Dunlop Gels Red(heavy) have been my thing for a long time now. Some people cant get used to such a plain pick, but its just perfect for me. Through coincidence the satch (a big influence) picks are very similar.

I had a Mammoth ivory pick from tuskbuffer... unfortunately, I can't find it, and tuskbuffer quit making them. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Don't really know which material is the best. I've used a lot of delrin plectrums since that's what the store used to carry.

I have used Tortex 88mm's for a long, long time, but am currently trying a whole bunch of different picks. I really like the new George L's grip picks, but the grip dimples come off after playing with them for a couple hours and they're hard to find so I wrote those off. I'm still experimenting, but I like the Dunlop nylons and new Ultex picks pretty good.

lol-man you wouldnt want to drop them!Ivory must be smooth but very slippery using when giggin?How did you find them?
