lol you may have a pointI know guitarists who are better than the full time big name pro's who make a living out of music.Why arent they doing it?i would guess that their work is paying A LOT more than what these musicians get.
Buckethead is cool but(no surprise)robotic in his playing,perhaps it suits him more?Anyway he is good but not my cup of tea

I think he's great technically but his choice of sound and how to solo isn't entertaining. It takes more than ability and practice to keep an audience interested. His backstage stuff with the mask was very impressive though !! I mean to say the guitar bits were cool as anything !

In a world full of musicians that take themselves way too serious, he's a breath of fresh air. Plus, he rocks!

Buckethead rocks. Just another guitarist who has mastered the fret board to achieve his dream of being ragged on by a bunch of online Siskel and Eberts. Buckethead is a genius! His technique is amazing and his humor is hilarious. His maybe a bit whacked off but I think it suits him well [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

And he can certainly do something else than shred,listen to the third solo in "Jump Man".

that dude clearly has some serious facial deformity, likely a bad cleft palate, there is no other reason for his mask/bucket gimmick and I bet that is not even his real hair. that also is his real voice, I bet, not just him goofing around. that does sound exactly like people sound with serious cleft palate deformities.
