His real name is Brian Carroll. I've seen pics of him without the bucket. The bucket is just a goofy gimmick. Nothing disfiguring about him as far as dudes go... Just tall and odd.

The funny thing is the people who say they don't like his style.... He's so varied and does so much different stuff that one video, one cd, or even a dozen won't show how much diversity he truly has. Oh well, their loss.

Yeah. I bet very little people knows that Buckethead was in an Experimental Acid Jazz band in the early 90s. And he did a couple fo soundtracks too.
