Re: Probably basic but.. sitting down to standing

You know,I'm having an image right now of a "yellow splash back" and its not pretty. I'm gonna have this thread fresh in my mind for the next several poop jobs I have.

You know, on a side note, on occassion I enjoy unleashing a platoon of septic warriors, very rewarding at times.

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Didn't Yellow Splashback tour with The Mentors back in 1986?

To get back on track - you could pinch the lower part of the V with your legs like Mustaine sometimes does. I used to do that with King Vs and while it didn't look too cool, it was a bit easier to play.

Splashback aside, I've got a comfortable chair I practice in and I've removed one of the arms so I can have the guitar hanging at my side rather than resting on my knee. I have always found the pick hand more sensitive to changing from sitting to standing and this decreases the difference for me.
