Annihilator - The Fun Palace question

The little lead section at :43 - :44 (the second phrase) ends with this higher up heavy vibrato and I can't seem to get it to sound right, I usually end up doing a held tap on the 19th fret with my picking hand and bending / releasing the string with my left hand... Any suggestions on getting it to sound "right"? I have no idea if this is how it is played, just my guess.. I can post a clip of the section in question if this doesn't make sense.

quickly listened to it....definitely sounds like a tap/bend to me, just like you're playing it. you might want to try bending/vibrating the string with both hands rather than just the left hand.

Okay, glad to hear that I'm not going insane. I'll just have to experiment a bit with it. I think it actually is the 21st fret, I wrote that without my guitar in my hand.
