  • Flat radius, curved radius on fretboards

So, the general wisdom is that it's easier to do bends on a flatter fretboard, and easier to finger chords on a convex fretboard.

Me, I have exactly the opposite experience. I'm having a much easier time bending on my rounded Fender strat fretboard than on my flatter Jackson. I also "chord" better on the Jackson.

    Is this strange?

A Compound radius fretboard gives you best of both worlds, plus its all down to what your used to and comfortable with....
