And again, base plate is where it has ''Jackson'' imprinted, Right? And what's the difference between the floyd or trem beeing too high/low?
I'm in D, but used to have it in E. Every guitar can be tuned to whatever you want.

    yeah, that's the base plate.

um...bridge too high looks like this:

And the screws that attach the strings to the bridge, I've seen people adjusting those, with the strings attached and everything, why is that? Is it to loosen the tens?.. And what about those ''screws'' (aparantly), in the back of the floyd?
you unscrewed the wrong plate . I said the one rectangular shaped .
I meant this screws (the two on the left):

ignore the thing in the middle of the tremolo on that pic. it's somekind of tremolo block, you don't have that.

and the screws located in the corners on the front are for adjusting the string height.

i don't know what do you mean with the screw for attaching strings to the floyd. you just attach the strings to the body and leave it that way.

Heh. Kevin Easton started off good, much like Anakin Skywalker... then he turned on us.

                          ^Hahahaha

Alright I did the whole progress, the bridge is straight with the body and everything but it still seems to be going out of tune very easily.. But it has decreased, I don't have to re tune after every riff i've played, but yeah might be some other problem too ? I dunno, still alot better now and I thank you all who helped appreciated

Have you stretched your strings out enough before locking down the nut? New strings have to be broken in, so tune up, bend them a bit and pull them a little off the board to take them out of tune, retune, repeat the stretching process until they don't go out of tune, then lock the nut, use the fine tuners in case the strings go a tiny bit sharp.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

Good call, Joe! I just read through this thread and was wondering when someone would mention stretching the strings. I have a feeling it's the answer here...
