My band is a bunch of old guys doing 50's-80's rock & roll - but played very heavy (for that kind of music) with really good 3-part harmonies.
I love prog, but playing that stuff will not get us gigs.
My prog original stuff is at the bottom of my sig, and my classic rock band stuff is at www.thekeystoneband.com .
I' m truly blessed that I have a bunch of same-age guys that are as dedicated as I am. 25 years ago I played 300 nights a year doing Sabbath, Dio, VH, Zep, Deep Purple,...to be able to do it again after all these years is too good to be true.Strat God Music

I play Charvels, and the rhythm guitarist plays Epiphones and Gibsons. So our music sounds like something like a cross between something a Charvel guy's sound and a Gibson guy's sound!
But seriously, our original stuff started off toward a heavier-guitar version of the Refreshments, but is pushing toward harder rock territory. We do a few covers from bands like Judas Priest, Jackal and Buckcherry.
